Once you have your keywords, the next thing you need to do is create your website and fill it with content related to those keywords. The best way to rank in Google for a specific keyword is by creating articles based on that keyword and publishing them on your own website.
There are three different ways to monetize your content –
1. Selling your own Products/Services
2. Using affiliate marketing programs
You can place other people’s products on your website and get paid a commission every time someone buys the product using your affiliate link. It’s pretty simple; you just need to find products (specific in your niche) and send them to your website. There are many programs, but the most popular one is ClickBank.
3. Promote your site
Once you create your website, the next thing you need to do is promote it so people can know about its existence and start buying products or clicking on ads. These are two main methods of promotion: Google Search and Social Media.
- With Google Search, you need to publish quality content repeatedly so it can stay at the top of Google search results. That way, more people will click on your link instead of the one from your competitors.
- With Social Media, you need to participate in chats and other social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, then start sharing your website link everywhere. This way, more people will see your link, click on it and hopefully purchase a product or click on an ad.
Step 4: Optimize Your Business
Once you’ve found some success online with your affiliate marketing business, the next step is to optimize it and make money with as few efforts as possible. For example, you can find low competition keywords not to mention long-tail keywords that are having many searches per month and that can rank your website on the first page by using SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
To do that, you need to write high-quality content repeatedly, publish it on your website and optimize it for specific keywords. This way, your website will be one of the top results in Google instead of websites that are not optimized or have low-quality content.
The complete process usually takes about 4 to 5 years to become profitable, but it’s 100% worth your time and effort. If you stick with the business long enough and find good products, then you should be able to get a 6-figure income from your online affiliate marketing business.
